So I figured I'd be updating this page more often than before, but that somehow isn't the case. I think the whole facebook/flickr thing is taking over the blog and I'm just not sure if there's anybody who reads this and not facebook. If there are, let me know. Anyway. I like the blog style better than facebook for most of these things anyway, so I should try to get a post up here whenever I add some photos to keep it alive. Jake is doing well. He's sleeping well, growing very quickly (over 10lbs already), looks at everything, is very alert, and has sort of started smiling (which is cool). I have some photos taken randomly (including last weekend with my dad) that I haven't processed yet. I'll get some time one of these evenings to do that. Here's some you may have missed from before. |

Well Casey and I went to the hospital this morning at around 1AM. 8 and a half hours later our son was born! Baby and mother are both doing great. I will be posting pictures eventually... when I get some time. Sorry to some people we didn't get a chance to call... SOMEBODY broke the news on facebook before we wanted. Oh well... less phone calls this way :). Happy Mother's Day!!! |

On Sunday we went with a bunch of the neighbors to a restaurant on Lake Travis to enjoy the perfect weather we were having. Brought the camera and grabbed some shots. Just a bit of a look at our all growed up lifestyle. The lake appears to be down quite a bit. That's the restaurant on the left. The ramp at the bottom was floating about 20 feet in the air. The nephew showing off his pearly whites. |

It sure is getting close to our first childs birthday. Due in three weeks to the day. Everything is ready to go, with the exception of a rocking chair (ordered and shipped) and some picture frames for the plethora of Cardinal pictures I printed (and shot). We'll see how they turn out... I'm excited to see them hanging. I'm a little anxious about the baby still... My world is about to change completely. Here's my beautiful wife at 36 weeks pregnant. And my sister when we were in St. Louis a few weeks ago The little fondant baby put on Casey's cake for her last shower. My neice being pushed on a tire swing by her father... she sure looks innocent and happy in this shot... Even though it's a bit technically fuzzy, I still like it. And finally... Guster (the cat, not the band) late at night chillin' with me on the couch. |

So I connected my blog to twitter and twitter to facebook. If this all goes to plan this update will automatically propogate. |

This place is about to change quite a bit in the household with the whole baby thing. We got the room setup and ready to go... we just need to buy a rocking chair and get some pictures printed to hang on the walls. Furniture is setup, showers showered gifts, walls painted, etc. Everything is about to change. We're excited to see what happens next. Casey week 30... I think we're do for some shots. This was a month ago |

I grabbed some new shots of Casey's belly. These were at about 24 weeks. Sorry for the slow update. Here's also a few shots from Christmas and New years. All taken with my new 35mm f/2 lens my father bought me! |

Although I doubt there are many who read this who don't know Casey is pregnant, I figured I'd make a post about it anyway. We found out we're having a boy. A little Micro Dan will be running around the house in no time. Here's what Casey's belly looked like at 18 weeks. |
